After so much time isolated due to the pandemic and taking care of others, join us for a weekend of self-care, peacefulness, and connection.

About the Presenter:

Dr. Nancy Sachar Sidhu is a NJ licensed psychologist and has been providing therapy, teaching, and presenting for over 30 years. She uses effective techniques from cognitive-behavioral, relational, systems, and group therapy. Dr. Sidhu creates a confidential, safe, and compassionate space where you can share according to your comfort level. She has designed this retreat in the spirit of her love for self-care, connection, transformation, and Cape May.

Accommodations: 

You will stay in rooms that were formerly St. Mary by-the-Sea Retreat Center and has recently become a science center.  Each attendee will stay in a  private room (shared bath with one other attendee).  

Fee for private room:  Only $275 for two nights.  This includes all taxes and fees.

Booking and payment is arranged through us. 

If you wish to book your own accommodations elsewhere, this can also be arranged (Cape May offers many lodging options).

Register with a deposit of $200. Deposit is fully refundable until April 1st.

Full payment due by April 21, 2023

Cancelation policy:

  • If program cancels all will receive full refund.
  • Cancelations before April 1st will have 100% refund.
  • Cancelations 4/1-4/21 will be refunded minus 10% administration fee.
  • Cancelations after 4/21 will be refunded minus deposit.

Detailed Schedule:

Friday:

2:00-3:00 Settle in, sit/walk on beach, connect with nature, meet other attendees 

3:00-5:30  Welcome circle, workshop on identifying core values, strengths, prioritizing, setting goals and intentions, describing “self-at-best,”  journaling

5:30-6:30 Catered dinner (all meals will be based on allergy/dietary preferences information)

6:30-7:30 Circle focused on self-reflection, setting intentions, goals for the weekend

7:30-8:30 Sunset reflection  

Saturday:

7:30-8:00 light breakfast (fruit, yogurt, cereal, granola, muffins, tea, coffee, juice)

8:00-9:30 flow yoga and meditation (no previous yoga/meditation experience necessary)

9:30-12:00 workshop and small group activities focusing on connecting to your core self. Understanding your strengths and protective strategies, the “change triangle,” assessing what strategies are helping you and what strategies are blocking you from connecting to your true self.  

12:00-1:00 catered lunch

1:00-2:30 journaling, rest, beach, connect with nature, nature hike, optional one-one-one coaching, massage*

2:30-3:30 small group reflection

3:30-5:00  workshop and activities, the 8 C’s and the 5 P’s.  Identifying parts of self

5:00-6:00  free time,  optional massage*

6:00-7:00 catered dinner

7:30-8:00 Sunset reflection 

8:30 Fireside music

Sunday:  

7:30-8:00 light breakfast (fruit, yogurt, cereal, granola, muffins, tea, coffee, juice)

8:00-9:00 flow yoga

9:00-9:30 walking meditation

10:00-12:00 workshop and activities focusing on personal growth and transformation

12:00-1:00 catered lunch

1:00-2:00 wrap-up, reflect on your clarity, connection, calmness, confidence, courage, plan

2:00 Check out, option to store luggage and leave at your leisure, go to beach, nature hike at nearby state park, tour lighthouse and science center.
